To záleží na definici volného trhu.
Nicméně osobně bych řekl, že každé porušení vlastnických práv deformuje trh, přičemž je jedno, zda to dělá stát, nebo někdo jiný. Akorát mluvíme skoro vždy o státu, protože ten to dělá řádově mnohonásobně více než kdokoliv jiný. Teoreticky mnedle deformuje trh i kapesní zodějíček, i když tak málo, že to nestojí za řeč. Čím větší podvodník/grázl/mafie/warlord, tím větší deformace.

Pokud vím, tak Ludwig von Mises. Myslím, že poprvé to až takhle krásně formuloval v knize Byrokracie, kterou vydal někdy asi 1940. Ale z jeho předchozích děl vyplývá, že už to určitě věděl dřív. Přičemž nevylučuji, že to minimálně intuitivně nebylo jasné už třeba Böhm-Bawerkovi, nebo Mengerovi.
Nicméně nejsem si tím tak jist, možná mě opraví některý ze zdejších expertů na Rakouskou školu. Já se více zabývám spíše filosoficko-"právními" aspekty anarchokapitalismu.
